Truth does counter error, but it is a mistake to think that affirmative statements
alone will undo the effects of false teaching. A mind that has already believed a lie
cannot perceive clearly an unadulterated version of truth. In such a way, submit in
everything becomes a license for a husband to usurp God's authority and attempt to force
his will upon his wife.
Sabotaged submission will not be seen for the perversion it is unless it is named
and exposed.
